Armineh Antonian is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and was EMDR trained in 2022. She earned her Master’s Degree from Phillips Graduate Institute.
In her 7+ years of clinical experience, before working at Connect Counseling Group, she worked with individuals, couples, and teenagers in trouble with the law for lying, cheating, stealing, and/or for those on probation.
In addition, she provided counseling to individual women residing in a shelter setting and ran women's groups periodically while she was acquiring her clinical hours.
Armineh is also a 30-year veteran teacher who's taught elementary and middle school in the Glendale Unified School District. She has extensive experience working with special needs and gifted children, and adolescents with learning disabilities, social/emotional needs, and behavioral challenges.
Armineh believes each individual has infinite potential to become their best self through growth, insight, and self-awareness. It is her mission to propel her clients toward positive change by improving the quality of the important relationships in their lives.
Armineh’s compassion and people-centered nature are assets that help her clients build trust and feel safe in the therapeutic relationship, so they can overcome their self-limiting beliefs, and become their own agents of positive change and personal growth.
